This design pattern would would make a tough one-way puzzle game. Not being able to double back is part of why the multiple endings had me engaged. I like the rounded riverbank tiles!

Had you used Bitsy before? (didn’t check profile or post-jam log)

Appreciated the story narrative. The dynamic shifts in scenery and the watery environment art were nice! I’d love to see more of this game somehow, or more lore regarding what’s happening. It felt like the surface of a mystery.

Peak easter egg find. Multiple endings is honestly crazy, I salute you for that. Felt like I was playing an Adventure Time lost episode or something.

not Xavier the moon man

That sunset scene is so good, paws down. I genuinely enjoyed the art, and cat themes? Peak fiction.

What was using Bitsy like for you?

Bitsy made me nuts. I genuinely like that ‘heartfelt sadness’ by the end. Didn’t expect that, but it was well written. Not sure if I want to spoil anything, but the ending was definitely a twist!

If you pursue this narrative, go all out dude!

me sitting here in the aftermath like ‘oh that was a whole story and it moved me without music’

good

Very funny, big laughter was had. Also, I appreciated the bridge.

Half expected brother to become the ball or something, but yeah!

Fire dude, ball lore when?

ball returned, rivers forded. get me with more of that MUSIC

Genuinely liked this. Kind of crazy for the interior sprites and the treetops. I didn’t expect the ending, but I could see more time being put into the little things you remember about your wife, or weird plot padding with the boat.

Peak blue palette.

Wifecore good.

Dang dude, that was definitely a plot twist. I love the trees, but the way you did the interior was dope!

Yo, did you like learning Bitsy? I felt like I was going crazy at all times. It still let me just make something to make something!

I like the little loop dude! Have any ideas for other kinds of games that are short and simple?

I would strongly suggest either a discord server or literally any kind of temporary online chat room. Not having anyone to talk to is crazy for a gamejam.

Yooooo, that was awesome. I like the gradual shift, the storyline is mysterious!

bro must’ve ruined earth day

Mechanics <3

hell yeah, frog game!!

I like the jumping mechanic a whole lot. Feels ‘froggy’.
